Sasha Biography
Sasha went through her primary and high school years not being able to concentrate on any subjects except for Music and Drama. A result of this was many lead roles in end of year and inter-school shows such as Nancy in Oliver and Adelaide in Guys and Dolls.
At 14, she was finally allowed to officially learn to sing (apparently the female voice is not ready until at least then!) and spent 4 years being classically trained as a mezzo-soprano vocalist.
During this time, the discovery that ‘Pie Jesus’ was not quite enough, led to her joining the local high school band, ‘Shockwave’, playing at local festivals for 3 years.
