January 1971 – Picked up a guitar for the first time. Jan ’72 – First school band “Carnivorous Plant” |
Oct 75 – First serious band “Evil Weasel”. Hard rock 3 piece. Played at the Greyhound, Croydon on various occasions supporting many
name acts of the day.
Sept ’77 – Formed “Steve Boyce Band.” Toured constantly.
Shortened name to Boyce Band in 1979. Tentatively signed
to WEA records. Spent weeks in a studio to no avail.
